Happily Ever After by Kelly Oram

Happily Ever After Summary

The end of one story is often the beginning of another. Hollywood heartthrob Brian Oliver and his Cinderella princess Ellamara Rodriguez have finally found love outside the digital world. But leaving their anonymity behind creates a whole new set of obstacles for the nation’s new favorite sweethearts. With the stress of Brian’s fame and the pressures of a new relationship weighing down on them, the It Couple quickly begins to wonder if they can hold on to their newfound joy, or if maybe happily ever after is only a fairy tale.

Hi all,

I am here to give a long overdue review of the second and final book in one of my favorite series, Cinder & Ella by Kelly Oram. If you need a recap of what happened in the last book you can check out my review here.
This book picks up one week after the last book ended, Ella and Brian finally together. A fairytale ending, but not quite yet. Ella and Brian now have to deal with being a couple in the public eye. Ella, who is not used to the spotlight, is having a hard time adjusting to everything that accompanies dating a celebrity.

In this book, the readers have the opportunity to delve deeper into characters introduced in the last book, with many new characters added as well people from Kelly’s other books. Imagine my surprise when I read Kyle Hamilton’s name from V is for Virgin.

But what made me most happy about this book, was Ella’s journey of acceptance. At the beginning of the book, Ella is still ashamed of her scars and is afraid to let Brian see her. She is afraid of any intimacy, and her mental health is still in a fragile place from the last book.

As she adjusts to fame, we see Ella begin to embrace her scars (with some help from Serial Hottie’s characters Ellie and Seth) and see that she is truly beautiful, scars and all.

This book is the perfect ending to an amazing book that I could read over and over again!

It is my pleasure to give this book:

See you all next week!
