Good Morning lovelies,
It is time for the second readathon that I am participating in this October, Witchathon. Witchathon was started by Crescent Moon Reads as a way to celebrate the pagan holiday Samhain which takes place on October 31st! The readathon lasts from October 24th through the 31st. There are seven challenges and I cannot wait to share them with you!
The Challenges
- Samhain is a time for honoring your ancestors… so once again, pick a book that features your heritage.
- This Sabbat is a time when the veil is thinnest, pick a book that features communing with the dead…
- We are heading into the darkest part of the year… Pick a book that promises to be dark & twisted.
- Witches often make offerings to spirit guides or gods… Pick a book that involves a pantheon of deities!
- Dancing around the bonfire is a Samhain tradition… pick a book that has a fire on the cover.
- Many celebrate the Sabbat as Halloween and dress up, post a picture of your costume and tag the readathon!
- Read our group pick Gideon the Ninth
The Books
- Romanov by Nadine Brandes — A Book that features my Heritage
- The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater — Communing with the dead
- Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir — A book that promises to be dark + Group Book
- The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L Armentrout — a book that has a fire on the cover.

And that is my TBR for the Witchathon! I hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you plan on participating as well!
