Witchathon: Samhain TBR

Good Morning lovelies,

It is time for the second readathon that I am participating in this October, Witchathon. Witchathon was started by Crescent Moon Reads as a way to celebrate the pagan holiday Samhain which takes place on October 31st! The readathon lasts from October 24th through the 31st.  There are seven challenges and I cannot wait to share them with you!

The Challenges

  • Samhain is a time for honoring your ancestors… so once again, pick a book that features your heritage.
  • This Sabbat is a time when the veil is thinnest, pick a book that features communing with the dead…
  • We are heading into the darkest part of the year… Pick a book that promises to be dark & twisted.
  • Witches often make offerings to spirit guides or gods… Pick a book that involves a pantheon of deities!
  • Dancing around the bonfire is a Samhain tradition… pick a book that has a fire on the cover.
  • Many celebrate the Sabbat as Halloween and dress up, post a picture of your costume and tag the readathon!
  • Read our group pick Gideon the Ninth

The Books

  • Romanov by Nadine Brandes — A Book that features my Heritage
  • The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater — Communing with the dead
  • Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir — A book that promises to be dark + Group Book
  • The Burning Shadow by Jennifer L Armentrout — a book that has a fire on the cover.
  • Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff — A book that involves a pantheon of deities

And that is my TBR for the Witchathon! I hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you plan on participating as well!
