Tithe by Holly Black Review

Good Morning Lovelies!
I am super excited to be sharing with you my review for Tithe by Holly Black! This is a smaller story that is within the collection Modern Faerie Tales by Holly Black. This book does take place within the same universe as Holly Black’s Folk of the Air Series! Please feel free to put your thoughts below, enjoy!!

Synopsis
Sixteen-year-old Kaye is a modern nomad. Fierce and independent, she travels from city to city with her mother’s rock band until an ominous attack forces Kaye back to her childhood home. There, amid the industrial, blue-collar New Jersey backdrop, Kaye soon finds herself an unwilling pawn in an ancient power struggle between two rival faerie kingdoms – a struggle that could very well mean her death.

Review
I love Holly Black and love all her works! That being said, having read The Cruel Prince and Wicked King, I definitely prefer those to this. That does not mean I did not like this book and Kaye and Roiben’s story, I just think she had improved so much since this book and this book was purely a fun read. It did not keep me on the edge of my seat and did not have my heart pounding, but I enjoyed it, which is ok! I love fae and reading about Seelie and Unseelie courts is always fun for me!
