• My Favorite Bookish Shops

Hi Guys! Today I am here to gush about some of my fave bookish themed shops! I love bookish candles, boxes and bookmarks and the people who sell them are all so nice and fun to talk with. I just wanted to share a list of some of my faves 🙂   FandomHoneyBees I literally don’t have a bad word to say about this shop. Mary’s bookmarks and prints are simply gorgeous and creative! This past January I had the honor of being a rep for this company and I hope to have the opportunity again soon (wink wink). From the colors to the fandoms everything is super amazing and…

  • The Shadow Queen by CJ Redwine

Good Morning! Today I am reviewing The Shadow Queen by CJ Redwine! If you know me, you know I love a good retelling, and I love retellings of Snow White. The reason I enjoy Snow White retellings is that I don’t like the Disney image of Snow White being so helpless and needing a man to save her. I love Once Upon A Time’s version in which Snow White is a badass that can kick ass. The Shadow Queen tells the story of Lorelai Diederich, a princess with magic in her blood who is on the run from our wicked Queen Irina after she killed Lorelai’s father. Our huntsman is…

  • The Wicked King by Holly Black

Hello! Today I am reviewing The Wicked King by Holly Black! I reviewed Cruel Prince a few weeks ago and The Wicked King came out on January 8th! I just finished reading it I am in awe. Holly Black has created a world that I never want to stop living in. Her world building skills are off the charts! I think that Jude is the definition of a badass female character and even though most of her decisions are morally questionable, they are in line with her character. She seems cruel but I do believe that most of her choices were made to protect Oak and give him what she never had, a childhood. Cardan has some…

I had a great time reading this book. I was immediately intrigued by the premise, but the book exceeded all my expectations. It tells the story of Brooke, a teenage girl whose brother had just confessed guilty to committing a murder, and Heath, the brother of the victim. Everything and everyone…

  • My Process for Writing Reviews

Hi Guys! Today I thought I would go through my process for writing reviews! I try to start writing reviews as soon as possible after reading the book because then everything is fresher in my mind. If it’s been a while  I either read a summary or skim through the book itself. It usually takes me about 15-20 minutes to write a review which is nice because that means I can just sit down and knock out about five in an hour! This is my general process:   Step One: Read the Books (duh) Once I find a book I am interested in, I read it! While I read I…

So here are the books I have read  in January 2019:   Even if I fall by Abigail Johnson – ⅘ Stars Thank you, NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this ARC! Wow. This book was amazing. I was immediately…

  • Family Cruise 2018

Hello Lovelies!! I know it’s been a few weeks but today I want to tell you guys about my cruise over winter break! It was such a fun week and only the second time I have ever been on a cruise. We went on the Royal Caribbean ship, the Allure of the Seas which is one of the world’s largest cruise ships. I hope you enjoy!   Day One: This first day was in a word, stressful. It was my family (5 people), plus my cousins (4 people), and my grandparents. We woke up early and got driven to the port. We checked our bags in and waited a long…
