  • A Court Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas

Hello Wonderful Humans! Today I am reviewing the second book in the  Court of Thorns and Roses Series, A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. ACOMAF picks up almost right when the last book left off, with Feyre now a fae and living in the Spring Court with Tamlin. After the events under the mountain, Feyre is plagued with nightmares and guilt of what she has to do to survive and save her love Tamlin. There is also the matter of the deal she made to survive with Rhysand, the High Lord of the Night Court. In exchange for her life, Feyre will spend one week a…

  • The Wicked King by Holly Black

Hello! Today I am reviewing The Wicked King by Holly Black! I reviewed Cruel Prince a few weeks ago and The Wicked King came out on January 8th! I just finished reading it I am in awe. Holly Black has created a world that I never want to stop living in. Her world building skills are off the charts! I think that Jude is the definition of a badass female character and even though most of her decisions are morally questionable, they are in line with her character. She seems cruel but I do believe that most of her choices were made to protect Oak and give him what she never had, a childhood. Cardan has some…

Happy 2019 EVERYONE! It is finally the New Year and what better way to kick it off then with this AMAZING book review! Okay so FOREVER people have been recommending Sarah J Maas’ series A Court of Thorns and Roses to me. Well, I finally read it, and HOLY SH*T why didn’t I do it sooner? If you know me, you know I love the fae genre, and this book doesn’t dissapoint. Overview A Court of Thorns and Roses (henceforth referred to as ACOTAR), tells the story of Feyre (pronounced fay-ra), an 18-year-old girl who hunts to support her father and two older sisters (sort of a reverse Hunger Games).…

  • The Darkest Star by Jennifer L Armentrout

OH HOLY ALIEN BABIES EVERYWHERE Hello Everyone! I am so excited to be writing this post on THE DARKEST STAR BY JENNIFER L ARMENTROUT. The day I got my signed copy was the highlight of my month, yes the entire month. I have been waiting for this book since I finished Opposition and it did NOT disappoint. The story is from the point of Evie Dasher, and you may recognize her last name from one Jason Dasher, the sergeant that we all hated from Origin and Opposition. One night, she happens to find herself, with her friend Heidi, at a club rumored to be a hangout spot for Luxen. Keep…

  • Opposition by Jennifer L Armentrout

Summary of Opposition: Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came. She can’t believe Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her—could destroy them all. Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal. They must team with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything—…

  • Origin by Jennifer L Armentrout

Summary of Origin: Daemon will do anything to get Katy back. After the successful but disastrous raid on Mount Weather, he’s facing the impossible. Katy is gone. Taken. Everything becomes about finding her. Taking out anyone who stands in his way? Done. Burning down the whole world to save her? Gladly. Exposing his alien race to the world? With pleasure. All Katy can do is survive. Surrounded by enemies, the only way she can come out of this is to adapt. After all, there are sides of Daedalus that don’t seem entirely crazy, but the group’s goals are frightening and the truths they speak even more disturbing. Who are the…

  • Product Review: The Fandom of the Month Box

Hi Fandom Lovers, This week I decided to review The Fandom of the Month Box (FOTM). Monthly boxes are becoming a big trend today. From beauty boxes to even a box for PMS. I have had a subscription to the Fandom Box for about two years now and thought I would share my views on the product. What it Is: Every month the FOTM picks a certain fandom from a book, movie, tv show, or even comic and creates a box filled with knick-knacks having to do with the fandom. Usually, the box will include a magnet, little bag, and 3-4 jewelry items from that fandom (this past October they…

  • Significance (Book One) by Shelly Crane

Maggie is a seventeen-year-old girl who’s had a bad year. Her mom left, her dad is depressed, she’s graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately, she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has. Then she meets Caleb. Review Hi! A while ago (pre-blog), I read this fantastic book called Significance by Shelly Crane. Recently I decided it was time for me to do a reread. I had forgotten how much I loved this book and decided to do a well overdue review! As it says in the description, this…
